Piano Competition Results
On Monday night, guests were treated to a wonderful display of pianistic talent from across our campuses. Our guest adjudicator, Mr Andrew Chubb, had the unenviable task of choosing Runner Ups and Winners for each division as well as an Overall Winner, and our students were delighted to receive such fantastic feedback from him on improving their technique and artistry.
We would like to thank our Heads of Performance, Nicole Roberts (P-6) and Arienne Brodie (7-12), our Administrators Kirsty Hales (Senior) and Jacqueline McGlade (Junior), as well as Ben Peate for Audio Visual and Lighting and Vicki Skarrat for photography.
We are delighted to also share official photos in the folder below, which are for individual use only.

Yr 11 IB Showcase
The Year 11 IB Students performed for their annual showcase on Tuesday this week. The performances were of an excellent standard and the students should be very proud of their efforts to get to this stage. They were also responsible for preparing for the evening, including set up, sound and announcing their pieces. This will be excellent preparation for the requirements of the Contemporary Music Maker project for Higher Level. Special thanks goes to Ms Arienne Brodie for her preparation and guidance of her students for the evening, and Dr Eskenasi for his work as Resident Associate Artist in accompanying and guiding their performances.
Spotlight on…Year 3 Strings and Choral!
Last week the Yr 3 Strings students enjoyed performing for their peers. Because the strings students have been learning songs from their My Mini Music Books, the audience were able to sing along with songs such as Johnny Caught a Flea, Bell Horses and Sea Shells. Students even used hand signs to show the solfa notes, and were able to identify the songs aurally. Well done Year 3!
