SENIOR MUSIC FESTIVAL IS ALL BUT SOLD OUT!  We’re so excited to see our friends, family and fellow music-lovers there on Friday evening!  With only a handful of tickets left, and to encourage people who may have never been to a Senior Music Festival to experience it, we’ve thrown a ‘RUSH’ ticket price in the mix for the final smattering of seats!  The final remaining tickets are just $20 as of… NOW!

Senior Vocal Competition Results

We congratulate all performers in last Friday’s Senior Vocal Competition held in the Edwards Auditorium! The delightful Chloe Zuel was warm and generous in her encouragement of our aspiring young singers, and shared valuable industry insights with many who reached out to her for connection. Gratitude also extended once again to our Resident Associate Artist, Dr Jeremy Eskenazi who accompanied performers on the evening, with additional thanks owed as always to our wonderful Senior Administrator Ms Kirsty Hales and our Head of Performance Senior, Ms Arienne Brodie for their work in support of the event. 

Well done to all performers for the extraordinary performances on display. We congratulate the Division Winners & Runners Up for their splendid achievement, and make special mention of Aneke Golowenko (Yr 10) who was awarded the overall trophy for this year’s Competition.

Junior & Senior Piano Competitions 2023

JUNIOR: Audition applications have now closed for the JUNIOR Piano Competition and we thank all those who have submitted applications. The panel are looking forward to hearing auditions on the following dates as advised:

• Tuesday 20 June 2023 (lunchtime)
• Thursday 22 June 2023 (lunchtime)

SENIOR: Secondary Students should complete the form below and submit their audition via the Music Auditions page on iLearn early next term on Friday 21 July 2023 (by 5pm)

Save the Date! Junior Music Festival – Thurs 3 August 2023

Rehearsals are in full swing for all of the Junior Music Festival items! With hits from Wicked, The Sound of Music, The Incredibles, Muppets and even cartoons, it is sure to be a night to remember! Please save the date and ticketing details will be released in due course.

A reminder that weekly attendance for students in cocurricular ensembles is expected and any absences should be communicated to the Junior Music Office.

Lunchtime Studio Concerts – Congratulations!

Congratulations to all of the musicians who performed brilliantly in our Semester 1 Concert Series! We would like to thank their biggest fans (friends and family) for joining us for these concerts and we look forward to the next series in Semester 2. 

Yr 12 IB Contemporary Music Maker Showcase

This coming Tuesday evening at 4.30pm, Yr 12 IB Music students will be presenting a showcase of their Contemporary Music Maker collaborations.
