Music
Time is racing by as we bring our beloved annual production Senior Music Festival to The Concourse Concert Hall stage next Friday evening! If you’ve yet to buy tickets, you’ll be pleased to know there are a smattering of good seats still available in the circle! Jump on The Concourse website and secure your spots for this unforgettable night. 200 performers gathered at school on Sunday for our all day rehearsal, excited as we bring this show to life.
We have another musically industrious week ahead across Prep, Junior & Senior Schools with 650 students rehearsing for the Junior Campus Choral (K-6) Celebration in Week 9! Choral singing is alive and well at Redlands with around 250 members within our cocurricular choral programs, in addition to our thriving curriculum choirs.
We have two more studio concerts tomorrow and our Advanced String Ensemble will be featuring in our Foundation Day assembly in Redlands Hall. To round the week off, our Senior Vocal Competition is on tomorrow night with a superb line-up of finalists ready to sing their hearts out for our judge and audience!
Term 3 is flying by… We must be having fun!
Wishing you a great week to come.
See you at the Concourse!

Spotlight on…‘Song of the Fortnight’
Did you know that Prep students perform a different song for every Prep Assembly throughout the year? In preparing for these performances, students are learning all about performance etiquette, blending of voices and watching a conductor. This term our favourites have been 5 Little Leaves, Have a Day off Mum and Welcome to all people. Parents might like to ask their Prep children for a special performance of these songs at home!
