Music

Last Saturday’s Autumn Fair was a hot showcase of our Jazz Program at Redlands!  We are grateful for all the volunteers and the many students from the Junior Jazz, Intermediate and Advanced Stage Bands, and the Jazz Vocal Ensemble who shared their talents and energy for the joy of the broader community.  What a fun way to spend a Saturday with the day’s program capably compered by our 2023 Music Captains.

Tonight sees Opening Night of the Redlands Musical – Addam’s Family, and we are proud of all the Redlands vocalists and instrumentalists whose lights will shine at The Concourse in the days ahead. Congratulations to the Drama Department and the assisting Music staff for all your efforts to bring this story to life! Toi toi!

As well as the big events on the horizon, we have some further exciting auditions and applications closing soon (see below) and strongly encourage all our Redlands Musicians to see what opportunities are available to them and to lean in. Congratulations too to the Junior Campus finalists of the Red Factor variety show! You made it a very tricky job for our panel – and we commend all entrants for the immense creativity and joy that was shared in the audition process.

Strap in for some great music making for the next few weeks as we bring Term One to a happy close!

From our Administrators

Have you downloaded the Redlands App? It’s not just for parents. Senior students too are being encouraged to download the App so they too can manage their private lessons and ensemble attendance. You’ll be amazed how much it streamlines our communication, and students can keep track on all their Redlands Activities in one location!

Contact helpdesk@redlands.nsw.edu.au if you need any assistance with the App.

Please reach out to our offices if we can assist you with anything further.
