Music

Rehearsals are in full flight for performances at the Redlands Autumn Fair and our epic annual showdown Battle of the Bands. We were overwhelmed by great audition submissions for the competition last week, and are thrilled to announce the finalists and our guest judge below! See the link to book your tickets!

If planning your day at the Autumn Fair, be sure to pop the Fahl Garden on your itinerary between 1.00 – 2.30pm to be serenaded by our Junior and Senior Jazz Ensembles who have a great program lined up for you.

Next week I’m looking forward to spending time with members of our Prep School community in the Prep Music Orientation session on Thursday Morning.  Many families of younger students are wondering what exciting opportunities lie ahead in their Redlands journey, and may even have practical questions around the right time to start learning an instrument and how caregivers might offer support to music learning at home. I look forward to unpacking these things in our session alongside Ms Katherine Moses, our Head of Junior Campus Music.

Wishing you a lovely week to come!

Director of Music P-12
