ASBOF 2022 – Winners and Grinners!
Congratulations to our Combined Strings and Advanced Concert Band who were awarded silver and gold respectively at the Australian School Band and Orchestra Festival (ASBOF), hosted at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music on Sunday!
These Senior Campus musicians displayed grit and diligence in pursuit of this opportunity and represented their school community with pride and excellence. (Thanks to Mr Montz, Mr Owen, Ms Moses and our brilliant Music Tutors for their dedication and support).
Senior Instrumental Competition 2022
Preparations are in the final stages for the Instrumental Competition occurring next Monday 19th September. We are pleased to announce the adjudicator for the Instrumental Competition will be Rosemary Quinn, renowned cellist with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra.
The event will commence at 5.30pm. Parents and friends are welcome to attend, and can reserve some of the limited seats available via the link below.

AMEB Examinations
Congratulations to students who have now completed their AMEB exams! Students were cool, calm and collected and we continue to be impressed with the level of preparation among our learners. As always we thank tutors for their work in supporting students, as well as accompanists Mr Tony Lee, Mr Zi-Hao Li, Mr Diego Iddaraga and Mr Jason Xu. We also wish students who are yet to complete their exams all the best.
Flute Society Eisteddfod
We would like to congratulate Year 8 student Andy Guan who has received two Highly Commended awards in the 2022 Flute Society Eisteddfod. Andy was required to submit 2 video recordings and was competing against flautists from the Sydney metro area and beyond. Well done Andy, and we thank flute tutor Ms Suellen Monaghan for her commitment to providing these wonderful opportunities for students.
Composition Competition – Redlands EP 2023
We thank all those who submitted songs and works for consideration for the Redlands EP 2023! The panel are delighted by the record number of submissions and are thrilled to announce the finalists below:
