Private Tuition Studio Concert Series
Weeks 5-7 will see our Semester One studio concerts launched across both Junior and Senior Campuses. These lunchtime concerts offer a relaxed opportunity for singers and instrumentalists from P-12 to share their journey with a supportive audience of family and friends (whom we are delighted to welcome on site to join us!). ‘The clock striking one’ will see the radical pivot wherein classrooms need to magically turn into performance spaces! Thank you in advance for your grace and assistance with these transitions ready for our music sharing time.

Senior Vocal Competition Finals – 10 June 2022
The Heads of Performance and our auditioning panel were excited by the overall standard and the record number of entries received for the Senior Vocal Competition this year. After much deliberation, we are thrilled to announce that the following students have been successful in their auditions, and are invited to take to the Edwards Auditorium stage as finalists for 2022. Assigned piano accompanists will be in contact soon. Stand by for the announcement of the internationally respected singer-songwriter booked to join us as adjudicator this year!

Senior Music Festival – Friday 17 June 2022 6pm

We are just four weeks away from ‘THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME’ Senior Music Festival extravaganza on the stage of the Concert Hall at the Chatswood Concourse. This is shaping up to be an evening of joy for the whole Redlands community from youngest to oldest. Book a family night out and join us in Chatswood! The Concourse/Ticketek have advised that our Box Office opening has been delayed just a touch further (until early next week) – but rest assured we will send a green-light correspondence piece home immediately to give you the ‘ready set go’ you need to book your tickets as soon as that link becomes live! The venue was packed last year, so book early to ensure you don’t miss out! |
As is our fun tradition, we’re stockpiling SMF ‘merch’ (including a limited edition G.O.A.T. hoodie!!) and other terrific prizes that we can’t wait to award to the students who achieve the highest ticket sales!
A reminder that in addition to our usual weekly ensemble and Year 12 rehearsals, the mandatory whole cast rehearsal is coming up on Sunday 5 June 2022. All cast members are required to be in attendance at this day as we finalise musical details, wardrobe and choreography. More information to come!
New Lockers
In seeking to address the needs of our growing Music program, we are thrilled to announce the installation of a further 48 music instrument lockers this week – strategically addressing the housing needs for our smaller instruments. New locker allocation will be prioritised for those on the waiting list, so it’s a fantastic time to make sure your expression of interest has been lodged if you would like a locker soon.
All forms are housed on PULSE, (alongside all our other sign up forms for ensembles and private tuition!).
