Junior Music Festival
The Junior Music Festival will be held on Thursday 2 August (Week 2) at 4.30pm. Our Cocurricular ensembles and Curriculum classes have been eagerly rehearsing and will perform a variety of repertoire that explores our STEAM theme which celebrates our cross-curriculum study of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. Tickets are available on line, please click here. Please note that all Junior Cocurricular rehearsals will be cancelled in Week 2 in order to facilitate preparation for the concert.

HICES 2018
Thank you to all students who applied to the HICES Music Festival this term, where an external panel considered state-wide applicants from Independent Coeducational Schools across NSW. As part of the selection process, with a high level of musical ability and an overwhelming number of applicants across all schools this year, places had to be capped and unfortunately not all students who applied were offered a place at the 2018 HICES Festival. Congratulations to the following students who were selected to represent Redlands at the HICES Music Festival this year:

Music Ensemble Rehearsals
All Senior Cocurricular Ensembles have commenced this week (Week 1 Term 3). Throughout Weeks 1-5 students will be rehearsing in Small Ensembles and preparing repertoire for possible selection as performers at the Annual Music Awards Dinner on Friday 24 August (Week 5). Students will receive the opportunity to work with Music specialists in developing skills for performance in small ensembles over the coming weeks.
