Maths Competitions

Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC)

The AMC is an engaging 30-problem competition that demonstrates the importance and relevance of mathematics in students’ everyday lives.

The Competition provides an opportunity for students to display their problem-solving skills. A certificate and individual report is provided, indicating questions answered correctly and score compared with candidates in the same year group.

This year it is being held on Wednesday 3  August for Years 7-10 at Redlands.

Students in the top Extension Maths classes are automatically registered for this competition.

These parents will be sent an electronic invitation on Pulse.

Any other interested student may enter and should request a permission form from their Maths teacher, then complete and return it to their teacher or myself by Thursday 23 June.
