Football Interhouse Gala Day

In our inaugural competition, brought about by the cancellation of our regular Winter season, we had over 200 students participate in this event. It was great to see so many students who do not normally play Football for the School sign up.

Competition was fierce on the field with fast paced games. The finals were based on the results from the matches all morning and, despite the Yr 6 Roseby teams winning all their games, they missed out on a place in the finals to Dumolo and Cowper. The 3rd and 4th playoff was Roseby and McDouall, Roseby winning 1-0.

In the finals, Cowper and Dumolo game was 0-0 and went to a penalty shootout with Dumolo saving 3 shots and scoring to win the overall day.

Year Group Results

Yr 3 McDouall; Yr 4 tie Cowper and Dumolo; Yr 5 tie Cowper and Dumolo; Yr 6 Roseby.

Final Overall Points

4th place McDouall 117
3rd place Roseby 127
2nd place Cowper 141
1st place Dumolo 143

Well done to all the students who participated on the day and thanks to the parents and carers who looked after transportation on the day.

Wednesday Sport

In our second week of the modified competition we had beautiful conditions for our Summer Skills program to continue and the oval was turned into a Tennis venue. Students are to be commended on their participation in this modified format across all sports.

Summer Sport Trials

Final reminder for those students who are involved in Representative Sport for Term 4 that there are trials before final team allocations on Saturday 5 and Saturday 12 September. Sessions are 90 minutes in duration and, in adhering to COVID-19 protocols, students will be separated by Year Group for these trials. Click here to view your session times and venue.

Cross Country Carnival

Our Carnival, scheduled for Thursday 17 September, will proceed with a few minor changes. Permission, details and notification for this event will be emailed to you shortly via Engage. To adhere to the COVID protocols, students will be transported to and from the venue and run in Year Groups rather than Age Groups. Using their entrant numbers from the Athletics Carnival, results will be split post event based on their Age Groups so the Age Champion can be presented. To view the course please click here.
