Staying Fit and Healthy at Home
I hope you are all well and staying as active as possible given the circumstances. It has been great to hear feedback from families who have been trying the routines below and the short videos that have been coming in have been great. In terms of video selection for general fitness, I try to select those videos that are most suitable to our students and families, that are to the point (less talk and product promotion) and those that have clear instructions and presentations.
Over the weekend I tried a few with my family to pass away the time and have added some new ones relating to agility and cones (which can be substituted with any object). We are also working on filming some more game-type drills and I have asked other teachers to contribute with exercise or healthy snack ideas. Stay tuned!
Our Captains’ Blog is up and running, made by our students for our students. There will be more contributions in the coming days so please visit it. One of our Sports Captains, Stella Cunningham, has posted some great core exercises understanding that we may be less active and sitting more than normal in our current lives.

For this week, I have also added some Tennis, Agility and Balance routines for you to attempt.
And finally, we have introduced a Redlands HomeFit Exercise Log which we are asking students to log their activity on and provide feedback each week.Â
Please continue to visit the Redlands HomeFit page located on Redlands Pulse and keep up the good work.
