Junior Sport

It was a wonderful finale for our sporting year last weekend with our teams in action all over Sydney and surrounds. Thanks to all players, supporters, spectators and coaches for their contribution to a great year of sport.

Our Girls basketballers finished their short season off in style, playing some great basketball and showing tremendous teamwork and most importantly having lots and lots of fun.

Our Yr 5 and 6 basketballers took on Barker and, with many teams playing tightly fought matches, our increasing  depth in the Basketball program shone through.

Our Cricketers travelled to Tudor House and, despite not coming away with a win, the road trip was a great success on a number of individual notes. Ben Barwise scored an unbeaten 50 and Charlie Parker and Jasper Houchell shared the best bowling figures, taking five wickets between them.

2019 Sports Dates

A 2019 Sports calendar with all trainings, trial matches and events has been uploaded to Redlands Pulse. It’s a working document with some additions made as they come to hand, but should be able to give everyone an idea of the 2019 sporting landscape.

I’m desperate for action Basketball shots – any action shots from any teams would be really welcome. Our teams are having great seasons and I’d love to be able to showcase their performances on the rolling display in Dunnet Hall. Please send me the pics, or a link or even pop them in on a USB (it will be returned) to the sports office or acarter@redlands.nsw.edu.au
