Junior Sport
Our sporting year has raced and this weekend sees our final fixtures across all sports. It’s a time of mixed emotions for our Sports Department, who are always sad to see the Yr 6 students moving onto Secondary School. We’re also really grateful for all the effort and support of these Yr 6 students over their time in Junior School Sport. We’ve had plenty of characters, had some great team and individual performances, and are really proud of the athletes that these kids have become.

There are a few changes to the IPSHA match venue and times for this weekend:
Yr 5/6 E at 9am , Northern Beaches Indoor Sport Centre, Jacksons Road Warriewood
Yr 5/6 F at 8am , Northern Beaches Indoor Sport Centre, Jacksons Road Warriewood
Yr 5/6 G at 9am , Northern Beaches Indoor Sport Centre, Jacksons Road Warriewood
Yr 5/6 H at 8am , Northern Beaches Indoor Sport Centre, Jacksons Road Warriewood
All other matches are as per the draw.
As this week sees the end of our Basketball fixtures, can I also ask any student with a borrowed singlet/ shirt to return them to the Sports Office before Friday 30 November.

If anyone has any pics or takes any, I love to use them to showcase our current teams and past teams on the rolling display in Dunnet Hall. 2019 Term 1 Sports Choices
Thanks to everyone who has completed their Sports choices for Term 1 2019. Just a reminder that the Trybooking site for making selections closes this Friday at 3pm, be sure to get your selections in to lock in a place in your Sport of choice for 2019.
Before school basketball skills training sessions will continue next week on Redlands House Courts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for those keen basketballers. Friday November 30th will be the last session.
2019 Sports Dates
A 2019 Sports calendar with all trainings, trial matches and events has been uploaded to Redlands Pulse. It’s a working document with some additions made as they come to hand, but it should be able to give everyone an idea of the 2019 sporting landscape.
