2025 Term 1 Summer Sport Nomination – Reminder

Thank you to all those families in Year 2,3,4,5 who completed their child’s Summer Sport for 2025, Term 1.

Please note all families were required to select a Non Rep Sport or a Rep Sport, they cannot do both in the same season but can alternate each term. If you have not done this yet please complete this as soon as possible so we can share the first round of submissions with you this week. As some sports fill up quite fast with capped numbers please don’t delay in completing your child’s nomination. Water sports tend to fill up quite fast in Summer. The following resources have been created or you to assist you with your selection;

Compulsory student attendance – Pre-Season grading: Those students who are playing a Representative Sport in Term 4 will need to attend the final training and grading session on Saturday 21 September for Basketball, Touch Football, Tennis and Girls only Basketball. This is the only opportunity to finalise teams in preparation for IPSHA for Round 1 which takes place Term 4, Week 1.

If students fail to attend this grading session on Saturday 21 September, they will be placed in the lowest team to be assessed at a later stage once the season commences in Term 4. 

Timings and venues can be viewed on your child’s activities on the Redlands App. Students may wear their sports uniform to this session as Basketball Jerseys will be loaned out to them for the upcoming season once teams are selected.

Redlands Athletics Carnival Photos

As you would be aware, a professional sports photographer to attend the Junior School Athletics Carnival to take some photos for parents and the school. There are some great shots online for you to view and or purchase or download. Please follow the steps below to view this folder that is only accessible to Redlands families. They will be uploaded as soon as possible by the company.

Term 3 2024 Upcoming Key Dates

These have all been updated on Pulse for your viewing and preparation These events can also be located in our school sport calendar. Information for our Junior School Athletics Carnival is now available on Pulse on our Athletics Page. The program for the Athletics Carnival should you wish to attend to view parts of the day can also be found here as well the parent information package on the day.

A training program has also been uploaded to the Athletics page as a resource for any family who would like to do some preparation with their child for the upcoming Athletics Carnival. This can be downloaded from the FILES section on the Athletics page.
