Junior Sport

Thanks to everyone who nominated Redlands in the Coles Sport for Schools program, a huge range of gear has arrived and will be put to great use across the PE and sports departments starting next term. 

The Term 4 Sport schedule has almost been finalised and we are just waiting on fixtures for our Girls Basketball teams. The draw will be available on Redlads Pulse as soon as it’s finalised, definitely before Term 4 begins.

Team selections are getting very close – we will name teams via email during Week 1 of Term 4, we’re going to need the extra Wednesday session next term to really nail down the correct team selections. It’s also great to remember around this team selection time that teams aren’t forever. We work really hard to give everyone a fair chance to showcase their skills and have them graded correctly. The most important part for us, and entering teams into the IPSHA competition, is that kids are playing in teams with and against players of a similar skill level, in healthy good natured competition.

Holiday Basketball Clinics

Basketballers can attend school holiday skills clinics which are slated for 8, 9 and 10 October. Check in with juniorsport@redlands.nsw.edu.au for details.

We love photos and showing off your great action shots from sports fixtures on Saturday. If anyone has any pics or takes any, I love to use them to showcase our current teams and past teams on the rolling display in Dunnet Hall. Please send me the pics, or a link or even pop them in on a USB (it will be returned) to the Sports Office or email them.
