Girls Basketball
Well done to our 3 Girls Basketball Teams who completed their final round of fixtures on the weekend. The 5/6A team had a great win, 18-14 over Kincoppal with notable mention going to Kiki Stone. Our 5/6B team also finished on a high winning 30-28 over Meriden. Coach Gerry Gomez commented, “What a great team effort all the girls gave it all and worked very hard it was amazing watching them running up and down the court, the game was a nail bitter. Well done Girls to all you that contributed so much to a great result for Redlands Sport and yourselves. We finished on a high note a very valuable team effort by everyone. Congratulations. Our ¾ team had an enjoyable season but went down 32-6 loss with Poppy named player of the game. Thank you to those girls who represented Redlands in our Girls only competition in term 4. A reminder to return your Basketball jersey to the sport office this week if you have not done so already.
NSW Softball
Congratulations to Lauren Rolfe, Yr 6 who has just returned from Waverley, Victoria representing the NSWPSSA team at the Australian School Sports Girls Softball Championships. Not only were they undefeated but Lauren was elected captain of the team, as nominated by her teammates and coaching staff. Well done Lauren.
2023 Basketball Teams – Uniform Reminder
An email has been sent to all families who selected REPRESENTATIVE BASKETBALL for their child to play in Term 1 2023. We have a new basketball uniform for everyone in Yr 3 through to Yr 12 in 2023. The singlet is supplied by the school (distributed Term 1) but you will need to purchaser the NEW Basketball shorts from the uniform shop. We strongly recommend that the majority of you purchase these shorts this year given the businesses of next year. Details for the uniform shop can be found below.

Redlands Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course
Well done to all students on their involvement in our Ninja Warrior Obstacle course on Wednesday. All students had an hour to complete as many laps of the course as they can representing their house across the following activities.
20m Sprint, Quickstep ladder, core plank holds, sit up challenge, frisbee toss, ball roll, crab walk 2 inflatable obstacle courses then a 20m sprint to the finish. In what was a very exciting and tiring day every student participated in the 2022 Junior School Obstacle Course with unwavering enthusiasm.
