Junior Sport

IPSHA Sports

Our IPSHA Sport season has now finished.

Before school training for Winter Sports has also now concluded (except for Netball which continues on until Semis and Finals in the NSNA competition). Our team awards for the Winter season will be presented on Monday 16 September Junior School Assembly.

Pre-season before school Basketball begins next Monday and Friday and is available to players of all levels and ages.

NSNA Netball

The charge at NSNA’s finals is poised to be exciting with five of our six teams playing finals Netball this weekend. Last weekend saw some tremendous results and our girls are running into the finals in fantastic form. Redlands 11 amassed a season high 20 goals in their big win and in a giant turnaround from previous clashes, Redlands 9 narrrowly won. Both teams go into the finals full of confidence after exceptional final rounds of the regular season.

NSW Snowsports Championships

Junior School Snowsports stars kicked off the State Championships in fine fashion. Redlands won Division 4 Moguls Champions in both individual and teams. Daisy Thomas and Julius Keller led their teams to the podium, both crowned as individual Champions in the girls and boys contests respectively with great wins in a tough moguls comp. Their teams followed their lead, Felicity Schlederer and Mia McFarlane joining Daisy to be crowned as Girls Div 4 Champions and Liam McFarlane and Sebastian Speziali chimed in to help get the team through to win the boys teams event.

Photos

We love photos and showing off your great action shots from sports fixtures on Saturday. If anyone has any pics or takes any in the future, I love to use them to showcase our current teams and past teams on the rolling display in Dunnet Hall. Please send me the pics, or a link or even pop them in on a USB (it will be returned) to the Sports Office or Adrian Carter.
