Housekeeping

As we come towards the end of the Term in regards to sport there are a few items that need your assistance and or attention.

Lost property: there is a quite a large pile of hats, tracksuits, jackets etc that have accumulated since the students have returned on site. Please ask your child to have a look through this pile at Junior School Reception if you are missing items.

2022 Calendar: the 2022 Sport Calendar for Term 1 is nearly complete and can be viewed by selecting this link Sport Calendar.

Rep Sport Items to be returned: if you still have school items such as Hockey Sticks, Touch Football Singlets, Basketball singlets that were loaned to you, please ask your child to return them to the Junior School Sports Office (located above Dunnet Hall).

Pick up times after Saturday sport: over the last 3 weekends, late arriving parents/carers for pick-up at the end of their child’s session have caused significant delays to both myself and the coaching staff who have had to stay back after-hours and supervise until parents/carers arrive. Unfortunately, parents have not been allowed to come on site so that contributes to the issue but looking ahead to 2022 this is something which will need addressing. From a ‘home’ perspective quite a few students did not know their parent’s mobile/landline number or were unsure who or what time they are being collected. External coaches do not have access to these details on Engage. If these details are addressed prior to sport then it will make for a more enjoyable experience for all parties.

2022 Sport Selection– The final Summer Sport lists for Term 1, 2022 can be viewed by selecting this link 2022 Summer Term 1 Sport Selection Review.

2021 Sport Photos: As we lead into the final week of the term and into the Christmas Break, we wanted to send a reminder to those families who may not have purchased photos from our various sporting events we have had this year. These could be great Christmas gift ideas and a way to remember the positives of the year that has passed. We were extremely lucky to get all our sport carnivals in and plenty of Saturday Sport action and with the thanks to Anthony Khoury Photography many of these memories were captured. Anthony was also present at our House Football Gala Day a few weeks ago and an album of photos from that day are available for purchase.

If you are interested in purchasing any photos from these events please see the flyer that was sent via engage or Pulse for all the information.

Basketball Skills

Thank you to those students who attended the Basketball skills sessions on the weekend. It was great to get basketballs back in the hands of the boys and girls and the mixed games at the end was a great way to finish before the rain hit.
