Junior Sport
Week 2
There certainly is excitement building in the air with the prospect of students returning on site in two weeks’ time. And while inter-school sport will not take place this term under our IPSHA and HICES pathway there are some exciting plans taking place behind the scenes for sport. We are looking at celebrating our return of our Junior School students to site while allowing them to reconnect with their peers through a variety of sign-up events, details of which will be released soon. All of this of course has to be done within the guidelines of the current NSW Level 3 guidelines.
Sport and House Captains
The Junior Sport Department and Sport/House Captains wanted to say a big thank you for your child’s efforts last term with Redlands Homefit sessions. To celebrate making it through the term we came together to create a fun lip syncing video with staff, coaches and sports/house captains to an 80s classic by Whitney Houston. We hope it brings a smile to your face as you start to prepare to return to the Junior School.

Homefit Options
For the coming weeks your child has received the link (posted on their Google Classroom) to the Term 4 Homefit Booklet which has 13 different activities they can select and complete at their leisure. There are a variety of skills based, individual, reflecting, wellbeing activities to choose from.

2022 Term 1 Summer Sport Nominations
For those students currently in Years 3,4 and 5 your 2022 Term 1 Summer Sport choices will be required. In the coming weeks you will receive an email through engage which has all the information relating to what sports are available for you to select in 2022, the commitment, cost (if any) along with a breakdown of what is involved in each sport. Contained within this email will be a link to complete your selection. Please note, every student who is at the Junior School in 2022 will need to make a selection, whether that is a Representative Sport (Saturday commitment) or a Non-Representative Sport (no Saturday commitment).
