Head of Junior School
Congratulations

We were thrilled to welcome Ms Hurley back this week after her wedding last weekend to her new husband, Dave. I know many families who have had Ms Hurley as their child’s class teacher over the last decade will be equally thrilled and as Class 3 Red parents are already aware, Ms Hurley will combine her honeymoon with her deserved Long Service Leave in Term 3. Ms Hurley will keep her name at school for the rest of the year so there is also no change to her email address.
Likewise we extend our very best wishes to Ms Harding, our Maths specialist teacher, who gets married next week and wish her and her future husband, Sean, a lifetime of happiness together.
Medications on Yr 6 Camp

Preparations are at the final stages for our Yr 6 Camp and if your child requires medication (prescribed or OTC) on camp, you will need to complete and return a Medical Authority Form (MAF) located on Pulse HERE to Mr Atkins (Head of Outdoor Education) via email at eatkins@redlands.nsw.edu.au.
This form will need to be returned to Mr Atkins by Friday 24 April. Students should not be arriving to camp without a completed MAF if they require medication. Please contact Mr Atkins for any other questions.
Secondary School Musical
Last Saturday, my wife and I enjoyed the spectacular Secondary School Musical performance of The Addams Family. We were in bewildered awe at the incredible talent on stage, in the music pit and working behind the scenes to deliver what felt like a West End or Broadway production.
Of particular note, (as I was gradually working out who was who under the make up!) I was filled with immense pride at seeing so many former Junior School students from Yrs 7-12 shining brightly on stage and obviously loving the experience and the chance to perform.
Congratulations to all of the students and staff involved in providing such a high-quality show over three days to so many of us and what was the highlight of my weekend.
International Day: Tuesday 4 April

Our School community is looking forward to our annual International Day event next Tuesday. Students are encouraged to dress up in either international dress or colours for the day and teachers will have a series of themed lessons during the day.
Thank you to the many parents who will join classrooms to share your own cultural backgrounds and experiences, always an important and insightful part of this day.
