Year 12: Our Gift, Our Legacy

It has been an exciting journey with the Year 12 Legacy Gift team working through ideas, concepts and fundraising initiatives. This year’s student led initiative is focusing on the importance of ‘Giving Back’ to the School. It is wonderful to see students working collaboratively and with a passion to continue this tradition which was started by the Class of 2016.

This year, funds raised will be contributed to the sixth Redlands Means Tested Scholarship named after Coralie Amos OAM, Redlander Class of 1964. For all her efforts and commitment to Service, Coralie was awarded the Member of the Order of Australia for Community Service in 2021.

Please Join Year 12 in their Efforts

Year 12 are inviting the entire Redlands community to support them in their fundraising efforts. They appreciate your support as they come to the end of their Redlands journey by purchasing one, or more, of our special commemorative 2024 drink bottles, Redlands Rhino key chains and greeting cards, or contribute directly to the Scholarship Fund.

If you make a purchase, products will be available next Term (July/August) either delivered to your child’s class/tutor or by post for an extra charge.

Final Week of Term 2

As we approach the final week of the term, we want to encourage everyone to stay focused and finish strong. Here are a few important reminders to help us all maintain our high standards and ensure a smooth end to the term.

Uniform Reminder: Stay Smart and Warm!

With the weather getting colder, it’s important to make sure our uniform standards don’t slip. Students should wear their blazers and navy school woollen jumpers to stay warm. Please remember that fleeces are only part of the Sport uniform and are not to be worn with the School uniform. Looking smart helps us feel smart and ready to tackle the last days of the term with pride.

All students are required to wear their Blazer to the End of Term Assembly of the final day of term, Friday 28 June.

Respecting Our Community: After-School Guidelines

We love seeing our students socialising and enjoying time together after school. However, due to end-of-term fatigue and a natural drop in self-management, we ask that social activities take place in the comfort and safety of someone’s home under parental supervision. This helps everyone stay safe and respectful of our community. Please note that students are strongly encouraged to go directly home after school each evening and refrain from visiting the local shops after school during the final week of the term.

Thank You, Parents!

A big thank you to our wonderful parents for your continued support. To help students stay energised for their after-school activities, please ensure they have ample snacks packed in their bags for afternoon tea. Your efforts in keeping them fuelled and focused are greatly appreciated.

Let’s work together to finish the term on a high note! Keep up the great work, stay warm, and enjoy the final week of the term.

Senior Music Festival

We are all very excited about tomorrow night’s Senior Music Festival and the kaleidoscope of talent that will be showcased. A huge thank you to all of the staff and parents who have worked tirelessly to bring this wonderful annual event together.

The students have been practising their hearts out and we  are really looking forward to seeing the students shine on the evening.

Term 3/4 Departure Notice

As we are approaching the mid-point of the year, this is a reminder that those families who are planning on leaving the School during or at the end of Terms 3 or 4 are required to give notice to the Principal via an email to admissions@redlands.nsw.edu.au by the following dates:

Term 3 Departure:  Friday 28 June 2024
Term 4 Departure:  Friday 26 July 2024

As per the 2024 Schedule of Fees emailed to all families in December last year, there will be fees in lieu payable for any notices of departure received after these dates.
