Head of Preparatory School
Daily Wellbeing Clubs have been such a success all year in providing opportunities for students to experience different things to do at lunchtime. The clubs have always been a safe space for our students to join in many varied fun activities whilst also having a calm environment to explore and develop new friendships with the support of teachers in the room.
The daily Friendship Club continues to be such a supportive space this year for some of our friends to come for help when navigating friendship bumps or when a helping hand is needed to gently assist in the growth of a new friendship. This year Mrs Clinton has demonstrated the importance of peer building and interaction by encouraging the Junior School Wellbeing Leaders to come at lunchtime and help out. Needless to say, the younger students have loved this connection and their friendships are now expanding outside of the Club and into the general playground.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our teachers who have taken a club this year. It is always a great way for staff to connect with students outside of their own classes while doing something they enjoy with the children.
A very big thank you to all the various parents throughout the year who have come in at a lunchtime to share in the clubs with us. This has been very special to us and a wonderful way to connect with the community again.

What’s the Baby’s Name?
As we all know, Ms Knox will be welcoming a new little person into the world shortly and we thought as a Prep community we would help her choose a name for it! As a bit of fun (of course with her permission), you will find pieces of paper next to two baby bottles on the Prep Reception Desk where you can write a name and place it in either bottle. I am sure there be a lot of choice for Ms Knox!
Once again, we gather lost drink bottles, jumpers, hats, lunch boxes and many other wild and whacky things that are left behind in the playground. If your child is searching high and low for lost items, please ask them to check the lost property seat and baskets by the end of next week please.
