A big welcome back to all our families and students, I do hope that the everyone has had a restful break from routine. We welcome Gavin Niu (1B) and his family who join our Year 1 cohort this term.

The last term of our school year in Prep is crucial for both academic and social development of our students. It serves as a culmination of what students have learned, allowing them to reinforce their skills and knowledge through review and application. This period fosters a sense of achievement, boosting their confidence as they prepare for the next grade. Additionally, it is going to include fun activities and transitions that help build strong relationships among peers and teachers, laying a solid foundation for future learning and emotional resilience. With this said, it is important that attendance is consistent this term for students, assessments will be occurring throughout the next few weeks and end of year celebrations and traditions are so very important in creating memories and connections with friends.

If you wish to discuss taking leave with your child early or would like to talk to me about anything pertaining to 2025, please come and see me or book in a time with Ms Pontes this term.

Term 4 key events have been previously published in Note Day and can also be found on the School Calendar on Pulse. I encourage everyone to keep an eye in the calendar throughout Term 4.

Festival of Redlands

Two more sleeps until the big day! The Festival of Redlands is going to be quite the event with a feast of things to do and experience for the whole family. Our Redlands House and Prep School students are particularly proud of the class artworks that they have created.

We were incredibly privileged to have artists Chilu Krile and Simone Bourgeois design, guide and oversee these incredible art works. On behalf of all of us in Prep, thank you Chilu, Simone and all the parents who helped for your time, patience and enthusiasm in creating these masterpieces!

All class artworks are on display in the prep reception for the remainder of the week and I strongly encourage all families to have a look in person or jump on the link below now as the auction is now live!

Term 4 Wellbeing Clubs

Thanks to Ms Anderson, the Term 4 Wellbeing Lunchtime Clubs are up and running and we have new and exciting clubs on offer. This term we’re excited to facilitate an Unplugged AI lunch club for Prep School. Over 6 fun-filled sessions, students from K-2 will explore the basics of Artificial Intelligence through engaging games and hands-on activities – no devices needed! They’ll develop key skills like critical thinking while having fun with friends.

The purpose of these clubs is to provide opportunity for students to try something different at lunchtime with friends or to connect with new friends in a safe and quiet environment where a staff member is on hand to provide direction and support.

Please have a conversation with your child as to which club they might like to visit this term. A reminder that no signing up is necessary.
