Key points to know about Survivor Edition Camp Week.
- On Monday and Grade Outdoor Education Day, all students to wear PE uniform (all other days normal uniform is to be worn, unless a scheduled PE lesson is on)
- Lunch orders are normal for days your child is at school.
- Please alert any Music Tutors if your child will be away for their lesson.
- All after school activities are on as normal.
- All drop off and pick up times are as normal.
- Library and specialist lessons may be disrupted and rescheduled. The class teacher will alert the children to any changes to borrowing etc.
We will begin our week with gathering all the students together to explain and reveal what the Survivor Edition week will look like. Students will be given a coloured bandana to wear for the day and are encouraged to bring along a gold coin donation to support the CanTeen charity which we have purchased them from. These bandanas will be kept at school and worn again on Bandana Day and Wellbeing Day later in the year.
As you can imagine, we are all extremely excited about next week and we hope we have provided you with the information needed. If we have missed anything, please just give us a call, or have a chat to any of us in the playground. Thank you for supporting the Camp Week committee is helping bring together what is going to be a fun and exciting week of learning experiences for us all.
Father’s Day fun
We warmly welcomed our students’ fathers and father figures onto the Junior campus on Monday for a chat over coffee and biscuits to celebrate Father’s Day. It was lovely to see so many people attend and to be able to take the morning to enjoy being with students, engaging with them in classrooms and having some fun together. Our Prep students always impress with their angelic voices and witty conversation, I think the amount of iPhones rivalled the Mother’s Day crowd!
September Vacation Care
We’re thrilled to announce that our Vacation Care Program is now available for bookings on HubHello, thanks to the wonderful collaboration of our dedicated families, enthusiastic children, and devoted staff.
This Term, we’ve worked tirelessly to create an unforgettable experience that is tailored specifically to our extraordinary kids at OOSH. Our goal is to make these holidays not just fun but also an opportunity for personal growth, skill development, and memorable adventures.
But that’s not all! We’re on a mission to give our program a unique touch – the face of our students. Your child’s happiness and fulfillment matter to us the most, and we want to ensure that every moment at OOSH is special.
To achieve this, we kindly request your participation in a short questionnaire. Your valuable insights will help us understand your child better and align our activities with your expectations. We believe that together, we can create an enriching experience that will leave lasting memories in your child’s heart.
Your support and involvement are the cornerstones of our success, and we’re immensely grateful for your trust in us.

Volunteers Needed
Learning Plus (support) is looking for volunteers with weekday availability to assist in the October HSC exam period and beyond. We need calm and confident community members who understand confidentiality. We are particularly in need of volunteer scribes (writers). You need to have legible handwriting and the ability to communicate in English.
Our volunteers find this a rewarding activity and a fantastic way to support students at Redlands.
