Head of Preparatory School
Staffing News
Sadly, we will be saying goodbye to Dean of Teaching and Learning, Mrs Stacey Smith on Friday May 19. Stacey will be taking up a role with the NSW Department of Education as a Curriculum Leader in the Northern suburbs zone of Sydney. Stacey will be working across many schools to help staff and train schools in the new NSW Curriculum reform.
Even though we are sad to see her leave Redlands, we wish her all the best in her new role.

Upcoming Events
Mother’s Day
We look forward to welcoming you to our Junior Campus Mother’s Day coffee and conversation morning on May 15. Please join us in the Piazza from 7.45am for a coffee, time to catch up with friends then spend some quality time in your child’s classroom. Bookings are essential so please click on the link found on the flyer.
K-6 Parent Cybersafety Workshop
Please join us on Thursday May 11 to discuss the importance of cybersafety with our elearning Coordinator, Mrs Argiro Anaganostu. As we know the digital space moves quickly and it is important for us as adult to know how to help our young learners navigate the digital space that they will grow to experience every day. Places are limited, so please ensure you book a spot via the link found in the flyer.
Preparatory Campus Playgrounds
At Redlands we are so very fortunate to have beautiful playgrounds and equipment for our students to play on. Our students can play on the Piazza equipment from 8am in the mornings and at times during the day when the play area is supervised. As cooler mornings start to creep in and the sun doesn’t quite reach our playground in the mornings, occasionally the equipment will be closed due to damp sand or wet climbing frames. The teacher on duty at the time will make this judgment call.
In the afternoons, can I please ask parents to keep your child with you or very near to you after they have been picked up. No child is to be swinging from the trees or disrupting classes that are still running. Playing on the equipment is only permitted for students who are booked in to OOSH. Thank you for helping us with this.
