Bear Cottage and Beau Came to Visit
This week we welcomed visitors from Bear Cottage who talked to our Prep School and introduced Beau the Therapy dog to us. Our students were thrilled to hear that the money they raised at the Prep Wellbeing Day went towards training Beau to become a good friend to sick kids at Bear Cottage.
This was an important moment for our children to see and understand what taking action looks like. A child is never too young to have a voice and take action with something they are passionate about.
K-6 Strings Concert
What an absolute joy to watch our Yr 2 strings players perform live this week at the Junior Campus Strings Concert. I sat very proudly in the front row and couldn’t wipe the smile from my face as the whole of Yr 2 played their collaborative pieces. I reflected on their growth throughout the year, what a huge achievement indeed. We thank Ms Moses and all the Music Department for their passion and guidance. Listening and watching the older students was a treat for our young Prep students as they could see what lies ahead!
It was also exciting to have four of kindergarten strings players on stage as well. We are very proud of their courage.
Yr 2 Disco

Yr 2 are counting down the days until they get to show their moves and have some fun at the inaugural Yr 2 Disco. All Yr 2 students are invited to come along dressed up to glow in the dark on Friday November 17 at 4.30pm-6.30pm.
Please drop your child off at the Dunnet Hall entrance from 4.15pm. Pick up will be inside Dunnet Hall at 6.30pm. Please wait until the children are lined up in the classes to make the process easier. Mr Trevor Dunne will be our DJ and there will be games throughout the session to keep the fun going.

Prep Presentation Day
After two years of remote performances, we are very excited to announce that Prep Presentation Day will take place in the Dunnet Hall on Tuesday 6 December. We will be using the free online Trybooking system to allocate seating and to ensure equity, the number of seats will be limited to two per family. There may be opportunity to request extra tickets closer to the event, but we respectfully request that you do not book more than 2 tickets on Trybooking. Any remaining seats that are available when Trybooking has closed will be distributed on a first come, first in basis.
The Trybooking system will be accessible from 7.00pm Friday 11 November. The site is locked until this time and will close on Friday 18 November at 7.00pm. No bookings can be made after this time.
Musgrove Opera Incursion
Today we welcomed Musgrove Opera to Redlands for a K-2 Incursion. The students thoroughly enjoyed watching the opera Max & Moritz by Aija Draguns, which told the story of two naughty children and seven daring pranks! The students enjoyed learning about opera and the mischief the characters got up to.
