Father’s Day

Thank you to all the dads who came to our Junior Campus Father’s Day coffee morning on Tuesday. The coffee was flowing as was the conversation in the Piazza. It was truly a special time to welcome you all back to the campus and well done to the dads who dared to show their skipping abilities.

After coffee, our classrooms were buzzing with activity and sharing. Students loved showing their rooms, playing games and most of all spending quality time together with dads.

My favourite part of the morning was watching the dads walk out of the campus proudly wearing their cardboard ties! Thank you all for making the morning so fun and special.

Camp Week

The excitement is growing for the inaugural Prep Camp Week. Hopefully all our families in K -2 have gone onto to Pulse to read the information letters and fill in the permission form. Please let us know if you are experiencing any difficulties with this and we can help you navigate the page.

Students will be wearing their PE uniform on camp days but on other days during the week they are permitted to wear mufti or PE uniforms. Sandshoes are encouraged as the students will be doing a lot of outside activity. Please make sure that your child packs their hat, drink bottle and crunch and sip each day as normal. There are no lunch orders on camp days. Drop off and pick up times are the same throughout the week.

If your child has music lessons throughout the week, these will still go ahead. The music teachers will have access to the timetable and be able to find where your child is for their lesson.

Before we leave on our camp days, the students will be briefed on safety as well as behavioural expectations. If there are any issues or incidents that occur whilst on excursion, the staff member will call parents to pick up their child. We hope this doesn’t happen but as always, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our number one priority.

No Playing on Equipment After School

Please can I remind all parents that as per the very clear signage, the various play equipment and oval are out of bounds for students after school, unless in a supervised activity with Redlands staff such as our After School Care program or one of our sports offerings. We have had concerns raised of students running around the campus unsupervised whilst parents are chatting in the piazza and there has also been challenges distinguishing between these students and those registered for our After School Care program. Thank you for your immediate attention.
