This week we celebrated Greenlands Week on the Senior Campus led by Environment Prefects Alice MacDonald and Ben Piro and the Prefect body, with a number of initiatives undertaken to raise funds for environmental initiatives at Redlands and support Giraffe Conservation at Taronga Zoo.

Today there was a Waste Audit at lunchtime and this evening we have a special screening for the Redlands community 2040 at the Orpheum Cinema at 6.00pm. Bookings can be made through TryBooking.

Tomorrow there will be a mufti day on the Senior Campus where students may wear green or animal themed clothing, with a with a gold coin donation (funds raised going to GCF).

Students also learnt about endangered species in the Prefect assembly on Tuesday, participated in a quiz during their Tutor Time and demonstrated their support for the environment through the Greenlands Bake Sale and raffle.

Thank you to Alice, Ben and all the other Prefects and staff involved in supporting this very worthwhile cause.
