From the Principal

On Friday last week, Mr Guha and Mrs Fellowes hosted 70 Heads of Independent Primary Schools in NSW for their Term 4 professional learning session which was held in Dunnet Hall. During their visit to our Junior Campus, the Heads were very impressed with the warm welcome they received and with our beautiful Junior Campus facilities.

Tuesday this week was our annual Melbourne Cup Luncheon. I sincerely thank all of our parents and friends who attended this annual event as they raised over $25,000 for the New Learning Hub, in addition to enjoying a delicious lunch at the Sergeants Mess overlooking Sydney Harbour. Thank you also to our Foundation and Facilities teams who organised these two functions, with a special thank you to our Events Manager, Melanie Hendra.

I wish to advise that we anticipate that we will be in a position to provide an update regarding our Senior Campus redevelopment next week. As per the letter to parents in the first week of this term, we are currently reviewing several viable options in appointing a new contractor with our project managers, in order to minimise the impact on the project’s timeline. Further to this, please be assured that as per usual, our planned maintenance upgrades and internal improvement projects will proceed as planned over the Christmas holiday period.

We are about to undertake a Uniform Survey in which we are inviting parents to share their views about our uniform, including formal school uniform, PE uniform and sports uniforms, and about our Uniform Shop. The survey will be open until Monday 19 November and you can provide your responses by clicking this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/V2GHHJN
