Thank You to Our Volunteers

We would like to thank the RPFA President Michelle Tea and her team of volunteers for creating the new online processes enabling the RPFA to sell second hand uniforms to over100 Redlands families this term. The online sale has already generated over $5,000 for the means-tested Scholarship Fund.

Our goal is to provide the opportunity of a Redlands education to an exceptionally talented student by awarding another means-tested Redlands Foundation Scholarship to a Yr 7 student in 2022.

Fun Family Trivia Afternoon

Thank you to the RPFA Committee for organising an afternoon of laughs, competition but, most importantly, community spirit. Participants dressed in their House colours to win House points, connecting through quizzes, games and dancing. Congratulations to all the winners and participants who made this event a wonderful success!

“We, at the RPFA are always delighted to work closely with the School to enhance connection with our Redlands community. It was fabulous to contribute to the means-tested scholarship fund with the proceeds from the Uniform Sale. Thank you for your support and we hope both events were valuable to you.” Michelle Tea, RPFA President

Christmas Cards

This year Redlands will celebrate the Christmas spirit by showcasing the students’ creativity in a collection of Christmas cards featuring art from our Junior and Preparatory School students, whilst supporting Anglicare’s Toys ‘n’ Tucker Appeal.

Submissions of Junior and Preparatory School students’ artworks (drawing, painting, mixed media and digital art) together with a short description of the image will close on Wednesday 14 October (Week 1, Term 4). Students can hand them to Class teachers or at the Prep School office.

Artworks themes to select from are:

  1. An Australian Christmas – bush, beach, BBQ, summer holidays
  2. Christian images – The Nativity, Baby Jesus, Three Wise Men
  3. My family Christmas– students depicting what Christmas looks like at their house/in their family/in their culture
  4. Favourite Christmas Meal/Cuisine/Treats

Ten artworks (either individual or group submissions) will be selected and featured in this year’s ‘Redlands Spirit of Christmas’ card set, available for purchase in early Term 4. Please join us to create a wonderful Christmas spirit for our broader community and win prizes!
