Foundation
Our thoughts are with all our Yr 12 students who have started their trial exams this week. We wish you all the best. The Class of 2020 has demonstrated great leadership and fantastic team work in these unprecedented times to continue the journey of previous cohorts. They have also managed to put together this unique memorable tea towel (see below).
Thank you to the Yr 12 Advisor Mr Eddie Atkins and Assistant Yr 12 Advisor Mrs Rachel Wilson for supporting our students in this final year.
This year students are sitting their trials exams in the New Learning Hub. They have decorated this floor with handmade cards to keep their spirits up.
Yr 12 Legacy Gift
The Yr 12 tea towels have arrived and will be distributed in Week 5 of this term via students. There is still a chance to be a part of this initiative and support our Yr 12 students by securing the Class of 2020 handmade tea towel.
We appreciate everyone’s contribution to this wonderful student-led initiative.
Workplace Giving
We are pleased to announce the means-tested Redlands Scholarship Fund is now a registered charity with Good2Give which is a Workplace Giving platform that enables companies to empower their employees to donate to charities and not-for-profits, straight from their salary, with no need to keep credit cards or bank details up to date. Some companies also offer matching gifts.
An example of companies already involved with Good2Give include: Westpac, Citibank, BT, NAB, QANTAS, Stockland, Baker & MacKenzie, Deutsche Bank and many more.
If you have a workplace giving account, you can log in from this page https://good2give.ngo/giving/donors/
Thank you to those members of our community who have already used this platform and supported us on our journey.
Melbourne Cup Luncheon
Last week we announced that due to many uncertainties our annual Redlands Melbourne Cup Luncheon will not be hosted this year.
We greatly appreciate many supportive responses from our community and look forward to welcoming you to this event next year!
Alumni in Melbourne, Victoria
As Melbourne and the state of Victoria heads into Stage 4 lockdown this week, we have sent our support, prayers and thoughts to our Redlanders who are affected. We have many our Alumni whose study and work had to be modified again. We wish them, their families and friends all the best during these unprecedented times.
