Foundation
A very warm welcome to Term 2! I hope you all had a relaxing holiday and managed to play lots of board games, bake and enjoy the beautiful autumn weather. I personally have refreshed my love of biking and have taken up a running challenge in the preparation for the upcoming Mother’s Day Classic.
If you wish to join the Redlands MDC20 Team please register yourself / your family here. More details can be found on the Service article in this Note Day.
New Learning Hub Update
Great progress has been made on this Senior Campus development. Over the past few weeks the temporary bridge to the temporary classrooms was taken down and the temporary classrooms removed, enabling the landscaping in front of the New Learning Hub to be undertaken. Interiors are in the final stages, student lockers are being installed and classrooms are being equipped.
Thank you to all our donors who supported this transformational project which is getting close to the finish line. Your generous support will benefit current students and generations to come.
Redlands Community Cards
I would like to thank our families who are involved in creating lovely cards for our older Alumni and community members, and Annie Flynn in particular for taking the leadership of this.
A message of cheer will be sent out to all our Platinum Girls next week as their annual luncheon, which reflects and celebrates our Old Girls who graduated from Redlands in 1970 and prior, has been postponed from 6 May. To acknowledge their day and share love and light with them at this time, we are extending a message of care and kindness to our Platinum Girls, including drawings created by current Redlands students Alice Flynn (Yr 4) and Grace Flynn (Yr 2).
