Foundation
A very warm welcome to Term 4! We trust all our Redlands families had a wonderful break and are recharged for our final term for 2019. Thank you to all our families who have made contributions to one of our tax deductible funds. Every contribution matters.
Legacy Gift of Class of 2019
Thank you to our Redlands community and the Yr 12 Legacy Gift team in particular who demonstrated incredible compassion and courage to lead the way in raising funds for the Legacy Gift, sharing these values with younger students through a number of fundraising initiatives conducted during their final year.
“Being a part of the Yr 12 Legacy Gift fundraising efforts provided me with an opportunity to work towards a common goal of contributing to another person’s Redlands education through a scholarship. Our fundraising initiatives united our Year Group and the wider school community, raising awareness of the gift of giving.” Legacy Gift team member, Class of 2019.
At the Valedictory dinner Glenda McLoughlin, Chair of Redlands Board, and Dr Lennox both acknowledged all the efforts made towards this common goal. Dr Lennox talked about the importance of diversity among the student body and praised the Yr 12 cohort for starting an important legacy.
“A legacy is a gift that is left to others who follow. Another legacy has become an established part of the culture of the Redlands of today, coming again from the students.” Dr Peter Lennox, Principal
