What a truly memorable Winter Wonderland Gala Ball night which, with everyone’s support, raised $160,000 for the means-tested Dr Sue Morey AM Scholarship. There are so many people to be thanked to make this evening such a great success! All the guests, who made an effort to dress up, our Event partners and sponsors, staff, volunteers and Alumni! Thank you to our Event Partner, Belle Property, our Platinum Sponsors Evoka and Nurse Next Door Home Care Services, and our very generous Prize Donors for your incredible contributions.
Our dedicated Gala Ball Committee played an integral part of the Event preparation, which started straight after the Autumn Fair.
The evening featured our Winter Queen and exceptionally entertaining MC, Catriona Rowntree, Redlander 1989, and wonderful vocal performances by Rebecca Ordiz and Matilda Williams, Redlanders 2019. We are also grateful to the numerous young alumni who gave up their Saturday night and played a key role during the festivities to help raise funds and promote the School.
The raffle prizes were drawn on the night and the highly anticipated online Bali Raffle sold out! The winner is Michele Adamson. Congratulations to all the winners!
The whole evening was a reflection of the strong connection among our community and desire to advance the School. When we were leaving the event after packing up, one of our families greeted me with “Go Redlands”! What a kudos to us all.
