Important Student Health and Safety Notice: Spring Fair
Parents are advised that there will be First Aid provided at the Spring Fair this coming Saturday, but our First Aid provider will not have access to medication or medical equipment held by the School for student use.
Therefore, it is essential that any student who requires an Epipen or any other medication brings this with them on the day.
A Special Birthday Celebration
On Monday, Redlands hosted a birthday morning tea to celebrate Mr John Roberts, one of the three Redlands Founding Trustees, 100th birthday. Guests included Penny Roberts, John’s daughter from the Class of 1974, fellow Trustees Mr John Lang OAM and Mr Bruce Adams, Mr and Mrs Robert Dunnet, Ms Glenda McLoughlin, Redlands Chair, and Board members, Principal Dr Peter Lennox, Deputy Principal Ms Sarah McGarry, School Executives, Secondary and Junior School Captains and Yr 12 singers, who sang Mr Roberts a very special Happy Birthday! To mark the occasion, Mr Roberts brought along his congratulatory message from HRH Queen Elizabeth.
Mr John Roberts has had a very positive impact on Redlands. During his time as a Redlands RPFA Chairman, coeducation was introduced, Early Childhood education was re-established, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme commenced, the former Cremorne Girls’ High School, now the Junior Campus, was purchased and the High Country Campus was developed as a base for Outdoor Education and Winter School.
