Making a Difference Together
A couple of weeks ago I attended a conference focusing on the Advancement area of schools and community involvement. It was only a confirmation that our Redlands community has a strong and generous tradition of service and giving. Together we can make a difference which benefits current students and future generations.
Expanding the High Country Campus
This year’s Annual Giving provides an opportunity to support the expansion of the High Country Campus which was originally developed by the School in partnership with the Redlands Parents and Friends Association. The Campus was opened in 1996 with two accommodation buildings and two more buildings have been added since. This was only possible due to generous contributions of Redlands families.
A few months ago, we announced the launch of a new residential Experiential Program for our Year 9 students in 2025. In order to accommodate the whole of Year 9 split over two terms and the future expansion of our Winter School, we need capacity to house approximately 20 more students and 12 more staff.
Please join us, our Board, Executive and staff by contributing to our Appeal this year. Every gift, large or small, makes a difference! A donation of $2 and more is tax deductible in Australia.
Back to Campus Reunion
Last Friday the energy in Redlands Hall was electric as over 200 Alumni from classes of 2012, 2013, 2017 and 2018 gathered back on campus. We would like to give a special shout-out to our exceptional year group ambassadors: Sophie Marrott (RL 2012), Romy Oesterheld and Chris Blundell (2013), Bernie Croll and Annie Ryan (past School Captains 2017), and Zac Pincini (School Captain 2018). Their dedication and efforts in organizing these reunions were instrumental in making them a resounding success.
