Legacy Gift, Class of 2021 – Students are leading the way and the Tradition Continues
We are very proud of the Yr 12 Legacy Gift team, who have made fantastic contributions to our community while raising funds towards the Belinda Oxley Scholarship and an environmental initiative at Redlands.
Yr 7 Movie Night
Last Friday night, this team hosted the Yr 7 Movie Night, welcoming our youngest Secondary School students to enjoy a night of popcorn and pizza in pyjamas whilst watching Ratatouille on the big screen! This was very happy and successful event, displaying leadership, teamwork and generosity of spirit towards our younger students and the overarching Legacy Gift fundraising project.
Thank you to Yr 12 Year Advisors, Ms Matthews and Dr Regis, for supervising throughout the evening and donating most of their Friday night!
Spirit Fair
On Tuesday afternoon the Secondary School came alive with fun and frivolity, as the Spirit Fair was celebrated with gusto, hosted by the Yr 12 Leadership Team. The purpose of this event was to provide the opportunity to develop House spirit in a friendly and inclusive environment, whilst raising proceeds towards the Legacy Gift initiative.
Students enjoyed a variety of activities, including basketball and dodgeball competitions, Just Dance competitions, Lip Sync Battle, chess competitions, a movie screening, sausage sizzle and carnival stalls.
Congratulations to the Legacy Gift team and the Class of 2021, it was a great effort and thank you to the entire Redlands Secondary School student community.

Heritage Week and Foundation Day Service 2021
Heritage Week culminated in Foundation Day Service last Friday including Redlander Guest Speaker, actor Tess Haubrich (Class of 2007 Arts Captain), who fondly remembered her School’s lovely sense of community and individuality. It was a pleasure to welcome Tess back to Redlands and hear about her journey since she graduated. Tess encouraged students to always remember to take the road less travelled, to let your light shine and let it shine brightly.
A perfect way to celebrate 137 years of Creative Arts at Redlands!
