Please register your interest for the ICAS English, Writing and Spelling competitions before 7 May to Kate Carolan stating your student’s name, Year Group and which exams you would like to register them for. The closing date to register is the 11 May – Spelling (up to Yr 7): $13.20, Writing: $19.80, English: $9.90.

Need Help with English?

An English teacher will be in the Library after school on Monday (4.30-5.30pm), Tuesday and Wednesday (3.30-4.30pm). Any student who wishes to access additional help from an English teacher is encouraged to avail themselves of this learning provision.

Do You Love to Write?

Any students interested in entering the Mosman Youth Awards in Literature and/or the Nan Manefield Young Writers Award should direct their interest to Dr Jane Sloan.

Creative Writing Workshops

A reminder that Creative Writing Workshops run every Thursday at Lunch in L14.  The focus of these workshops is to inspire creativity and build confidence in writing.  This is especially beneficial for Yr 11 and 12 HSC students who need to practice, enrich or improve their flair in creative writing, however students from all Year Groups are encouraged to attend. The workshops are run by Dr Jane Sloan and Ms Rachel Everingham.
