Musical
Congratulations to all the students who were part of the brilliant success of this year’s dazzling Musical Strictly Ballroom the Musical. Over 130 members of the Redlands student community from Yrs 7 to 12 were involved performing to three amazing performances. Whether the students were on stage, under the stage, side of stage or working with puppets, they gave their very best, learning many new skills and making many strong friendships across Year Groups. These wonderful experiences could not have taken place without the support and assistance of so many people which enabled our Redlands stars to let their light shine.
Mrs Daley and the Musical staff team would like to thank the parents, especially our departing Yr 12 parents for all their support over many years. We would also like to acknowledge the co-Chairs of Friends of Drama, Tracy Everingham, Melissa Fleming and Elena Burchett who contributed in so many ways through this project with the Friends of Drama parent team of volunteers.
Musical Awards
Student awards for outstanding commitment were presented before closing night to each Year Group. An overall winner was presented with the Stanislavski Award for outstanding achievement and commitment.

Musical for 2020 – Announced Week 1 Term 3
If you are suffering from post production withdrawals after the Musical, now is the time to prepare for next year’s roles and join us in our exciting classes in Musical Theatre. Auditions for 2020 will take place in Term 4 this year with applications for auditions due in Term 3.
Theatresports Competition
Redlands annual Theatresports Competition was held on Tuesday 10 April in the Drama Studio. The winning teams were presented with awards by Mrs Daley:

Gala Arts
Congratulations to all who auditioned for Gala Arts 2019. The final list of competitors is available here. There will be Competitors Meeting at lunch in the Drama Studio on Wednesday 10 April. Gala Arts will take place on Friday 31 May in the Concert Hall at The Concourse in Chatswood. Tickets will be on sale directly from The Concourse and Ticketek and will be available on Monday 8 April here.
