Yr 9 Performance Headlines

Well done to Yr 9 Drama students who completed their performance examinations on Monday and Tuesday night this week. Students presented scenes that explored issues ranging from gun laws, gaming, global warming to the death of the dinosaurs. More photos can be found on Redlands Pulse.

Musical 2019

Congratulations to all who auditioned for the 2019 musical Strictly Ballroom. The cast announcement will be posted on the afternoon of Friday 2 November. A compulsory principal cast rehearsal is scheduled for Wednesday 28 November, 3.30-5.30pm in the Drama Studio.

Yr 8 Performance Australian Landscapes

In Week 4 Yr 8 Drama students will perform scenes from iconic Australian plays. Scenes explore key Australian cultural and social contexts. Students are looking forward to sharing their work with the Redlands community. A letter with logistical information was emailed to parents in late Term 3.

Extra Subject Classes in Performing Arts

Students will all be involved in soiree performances which parents and friends are welcome to attend. These will be held from Thursday 15 November with further details following in classes. The 2018 Soiree event list was emailed to parents in Term 3.

Drama Celebration Night

Yrs 3 to 11 (Extra Subject and Drama and Theatre Curriculum Classes) – come and enjoy a celebration of the outstanding achievements of our students in 2018 in the Redlands Drama and Theatre program. The evening will feature the highlights from our Acting, Music Theatre and Film students. Special awards will be presented and supper will be served.
