Drama and Theatre
Welcome to our new families joining Redlands and welcome back to our students, parents and friends who are involved in the many activities offered in Drama and Theatre at Redlands. Term 4 is always an exciting term with many soirées, auditions and performances. We also wish our Yr 12 students the best of luck as they prepare for their final examinations/assessment.
This week we welcome Ms Alyssha Clarke to the Drama Department. Ms Clarke will be working as part of our team whilst Ms Daley is on Long Service Leave. Ms Clarke has a wealth of experience as a Performing Arts educator and has settled in quickly.
As Acting Subject Coordinator of Drama for Term 4, I look forward to working with all Drama and Theatre students and families for the remainder of 2018. A quick note, all curriculum enquiries are to be directed to Ms Marita Jansons. Other matters should be sent to the Drama Office where they will be directed accordingly.

Yr 8 Drama Excursion
As part of our curriculum program, our Yr 8 Drama students are super excited to be embarking on their first Drama excursion. The production ties in nicely with the Yr 8 curriculum content of clowning and comedy. Please ensure that permission has been granted for this event via Redlands Pulse. Students are required to wear full school summer uniform and blazer to this event.
Theatresports House Competition
The Theatresports House Competition will be held on Thursday 25 October at 12.20pm in the Drama Studio. Which House will win? Students are invited to attend and be part of the excitement as our teams battle for the 2018 House Cup.

After school classes in Film, Acting and Music Theatre resume this week. Students will all be involved in soirée performances which parents and friends are welcome to attend. These will be held from 15 November with further details following in classes.
