Drama and Theatre

Our Drama Celebration Performance Evening is coming up this Friday 24 November! Come and celebrate the vibrant community of Drama at Redlands with performances from Years 3-11 spanning Extra Subject, Curriculum and Cocurricular Drama students.

Drama is really thriving at Redlands, with over 656 students involved across the School, P-12 across Extra-Subject, Cocurricular Performance Opportunities and Private Tuition.  We are so proud of all our amazing theatre makers this year!

Matilda Jnr

Redlands Drama is thrilled to invite you to Matilda Jnr, performed by Yr 5 and 6 Musical Theatre students on Thursday 30 November.

Rebellion is nigh in Matilda JR., A gleefully witty ode to anarchy of childhood and the power of imagination! This story of a girl who dreams of a better life and the children she inspires will have audiences rooting for the “revolting children” who are out to teach the grown-ups a lesson. The cast includes Blake Anderson, Taytum Bannister, Sonali Basu, Leo Carroll, Harper Chambers-Lee, Henri de Saxe, Grace Flynn, Annabel Fowler, Camille Gabrielian, Sophia Georgatos, Harley Kekeli, Claire Liang, Emily Llosa, Kiara McQueen, Millie Rihani, Brendan Russo, Ella Shields, Claire Wenden, Molly Whiteway, Julia Bush, Ella Feller, Joshua Rantall, Alexander Read, Lauren Steele and Demi Yazbek.

Extra Subject Showcases

Extra Subject Showcases are well underway after our Prep students blew their parents and families away with their performances! We are thrilled to invite parents and friends of our remaining Extra Subject students to attend their end of year showcases running from Monday 20 – Thursday 30 November. The students have been hard at work rehearsing and refining their performance skills and they can’t wait to show you their pieces!
