Musical 2019 Strictly Ballroom the Musical

Application forms for the 2019 Musical are now available and are due at the Drama Office by 19 September at 3.30pm. Auditions are open to all students from Yrs 6 to 11 (2018). Audition forms are available here. 

Drama Competition

Congratulations to all the students involved in the Drama Competition held last Thursday evening. Adjudicator Sean Lyall (Redlander 2014) was delighted to see the growth in involvement and the exciting new talents coming through the Redlands Drama and Theatre program.

Senior Acting

11 September at 6.30pm

Come along and support the Senior Acting students as they perform Lockdown by Douglas Craven on Tuesday 11 September in T16. Set in a dark classroom, a group of students sit in an “official lockdown,” not knowing if it’s just a drill or an actual emergency. When an hysterical Yr 9 bolts from the room and the teacher follows, the remaining students are left alone to decide if it’s safer to stay or run. 

Yr 11 Production – Curious

17-18 September at 6.30pm in the Drama Studio

Yr 11 IB and HSC students will present a series of original works featuring physical theatre scenes based on the techniques of Frantic Assembly. These creative and engaging performances will be held in the Drama Studio at 6.30pm on 17 and 18 September. All are welcome.
