Gala Arts Finalists

State Shakespeare Carnival 

Our Yr 11 students Katina Casimaty, Louise Colin, Bella Kendrigan and Sara Vancalkova will compete at the Seymour Centre in the State finals this weekend on Sunday 6 June. We wish them all the very best in their final preparation.

Theatresports Semi Finals

Our Senior Theatresports students represented Redlands at the Theatresports Schools Challenge Semi Finals at St Patricks. Congratulations to Kyle Banfield, Emma Canton, Bethany Richardson, Omar Rihani and Callum Wardman-Browne for their excellent representation of Redlands. The team missed out by 2 points on making it through to the Grand Final at the Enmore Theatre. 

Year 12 Solo Showcase “To Thine Own Self Be True”

Yr 12 IB students presented their Solo Performance Examination on Tuesday 1 June at 6.30pm in the Drama Studio. Our students engaged powerfully with the work of contemporary Theatre Theorists as they brought their challenging pieces to the stage in the Drama studio. They received insightful feedback from the audience to use in their final analysis of their performances for External Examination. 

Yr 12 HSC students will be presenting their individual works in performance and design for their final examination at 6pm on Monday 7 June in the Adams Centre. Please join them as they step on to the stage for their solo showcase of major works. Spaces are limited and seats can be booked through both Trybooking and on the iLearn course page. 

Griffin Ambassadors

Running successfully since 2004, Griffin Ambassadors is an annual access-all-areas program for yr 10 to 12 students supported by the Robertson Foundation. The year-long program is stocked with workshops, performances and access to industry professionals, all geared to support the next generation of theatre-goers and theatre-makers. Ambassadors are united by a common curiosity about contemporary Australian stories, a love of theatre and the motivation to know more! Ambassadors might be curious techies, budding playwrights, outgoing performers, or maybe just love going to see theatre.
