Save the Date 3 April, 6.30pm: Shakespeare Under the Stars

Come along and enjoy a selection of classic supernatural Shakespearean scenes in the Liggins Quad.

Our Year 10 Drama students will be bringing some of the most famous and memorable scenes to life.

Any students in Years 7, 8, 9, 11 or 12 who’ve always wanted to join the Bard, please contact drama@redlands.nsw.edu.au if you’d like to be involved – there’s still space for more Players.

Drama Logbooks

Alongside their class activities, every Drama student completes a logbook of their reflections and ideas. This year, students have been offered the opportunity to express themselves in any way they want. So far, we’ve seen podcasts, videos, posters, collages, murals, poems and all sorts of other creative responses. It’s great to see students taking up the opportunity to show what they know and flex their creative muscles. Below, you’ll see a couple of Year 9 students’ entries which took on a particularly striking visual appeal.

Drama and Theatre Extra Subjects Program

Call out for any students interested in Private Acting or Private Musical Theatre tuition. Hone your talents with a private Acting / Musical Theatre session. Work on monologues, duologues, songs and scenes with one of our highly trained Drama and Theatre tutors.

Housekeeping: We kindly ask that all parents and guardians be on time to the extra subject pick up locations after the classes finish. 

You will find the various finishing times and locations for Junior school pick up on the Redlands Drama and Theatre pulse page. If you are running late your children(s) will be taken to OOSH and you will be charged accordingly.

Legally Blonde: The Musical

Rehearsals are well underway with exciting energy for our annual school musical. Students in Years 7 -12 are involved onstage, in the orchestra, hair and make-up and production.

Rehearsal Reminders

Be prompt to all rehearsals.
Bring water and food to all rehearsals.
Bring scripts, librettos & pencils to all rehearsals.
Wear appropriate attire to Friday & Sunday rehearsals e.g. Redlands Drama or Dance attire or blacks.

Costume Requirements

All Costume and Shoe requirements can be found in the letter sent out through iLearn. Please ensure you bring all items this Sunday for our check-in.
