Debating
I hope you have had a wonderful break and have come back refreshed. The SDN competition begins this Friday. Please note that all students are required to be at all debates. Redlands will be hosting the Grand Finals and all SDN students will have to perform hosting duties on the night, even if they are not debating.
Debating times have changed slightly from last year but this mainly affects the Primary teams. On weeks when we have away games, we will be departing earlier than usual (3.35pm). Students will have received emails last term about which SDN team they are in. Please let your parents know these details.
Round 1 Redlands v Wenona is a Home debate. Students will need to meet the teachers at 3.30pm in the Liggins Quad to sign in and set up the classrooms. Please don’t forget to sign out at the end of the evening.
Yr 7 House Debates
Ela Kos, our Debating Captain, is organising a Yr 7 House Debating competition in Term 3. Students from Yrs 10, 11 and 12, please contact Ela if you would like to help her organise or run the competition. All Yr 7 debaters and more students from the Year Group will be involved in this. More information will be available over the next few weeks.
