RDA Moonbah Dancers Update

Our Academy dancers are thriving in their classes at Moonbah! The Wednesday afternoon Jazz class with Ms Maddy is a huge success and Ms Jasmin’s early morning Ballet sessions are beautifully engaging, catering to dancers of all levels. On Friday mornings, Emma Johns offers an inspiring Contemporary class, and students also have ample opportunities throughout the week to practise in the fantastic space provided for them.

MJ the Musical Excursion

Back home our Senior Performance group students have been personally invited by Christopher Wheeldon to attend the final dress rehearsal of MJ the Musical next Tuesday, at the Sydney Lyric Theatre. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience his exceptional work firsthand. Christopher Wheeldon is also known for creating the musical An American in Paris and the ballets Alice in Wonderland and The Winter’s Tale.

Parent Pick-up Point

For Year 1 – Year 6 students, a reminder that we have a dedicated pick-up point, where you can meet your children after Dance classes.

Students will be escorted to this pick-up point by Academy staff, where they will be met by our OOSH team or by a parent/carer. As our dance classes run back-to-back prompt pick-up by parents and carers is appreciated. Any dance students remaining 10 minutes after their class finishes will be taken to OOSH, which will incur a fee.

Murdoch Street Gate

With a safety lens around access to the Junior Campus via Murdoch Street, we would like to remind you of the following opening and closing times for the Murdoch Street gate:

Access to Junior Campus is via the Junior School or Prep Receptions on Allister Street.

When Junior and Prep Receptions are closed, access to Parkes Hall Dance studios is via the gate adjacent to Junior Reception. 

Sick or Absent From Class

If you child is sick or will miss their dance class, please complete our RDA ABSENCE FORM

Enrolments for Term 1

Enrolments are still open.

We offer dance classes for every year group, from our youngest Redlands House Juniors to Year 12 students.

With Ballet, Character, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical and Tap classes, you’re sure to find the ideal class.
