Solo Soiree – Friday 2 August

We are looking forward to the Solo Soiree tomorrow night 6.30pm in Redlands Hall. All welcome to enjoy our soloists amazing work and to get a chance to see the Year 7-9 Jazz piece that was created by Sophie Holloway!

Sunday 15 September

THE big date for the Academy is 15 September, when we are holding three big events.

Dance Awards 10am-12.30pm

Tickets for the Senior Dance Awards Brunch will be available next week. This will be a fun event where our Eisteddfod groups will perform, and the Year 11 and 12 Curriculum dancers will showcase their work. There will also be a chance for audience participation, and we will farewell the Year 12s.

Redlands House Performance 1.30pm-2.30pm

 “The Pea-nutcracker” will be sure to delight, with all our Redland House Mini Movers and Ballet classes taking part, plus special guest appearances from the Junior and Senior Academy. Further details will be made available soon.

Junior RAD Variation Showcase 2.45pm-4.15pm

The Academy is excited to give RAD Ballet Students in Year 3 to Year 6 the opportunity to perform their variations for friends and family. We are thrilled to have Ms Jasmin Durham (former dancer with the Australian Ballet and RDA coach) in attendance to provide feedback to all students taking part. Absent or Away from Class

If your child is sick or will miss their dance class then please complete the RDA Absent from Class form – CLICK HERE

A reminder that for private lessons, you need to contact your private lesson teacher and cc the Dance Department. 24 hours notice is required for any cancellations. Any private lesson missed with less than 24 hours notice will be charged as a received lesson. Note: for private lessons please do not complete the RDA Absent from Class form.
