Community Update
A warm welcome and thank you to Michelle McDonald, Monika Crennan and Joseph Russo who joined the Redlands Parents and Friends Association (RPFA) Committee at last week’s Annual General Meeting. A new RPFA Executive was also formed led by Brittne Whitelaw (President), Carrie Taylor (Vice President), Joseph Russo (Treasurer) and Jennifer Mast (Secretary). Our thanks to the outgoing RPFA members of JP Forrest, Rebecca James, Annette Swann, Jacqui Halliday and Declan Hourihan, who collectively and individually made significant contributions to our School during their tenure.
The RPFA continues to keep our community connected, included and supported within the many and varied aspects of school life and their support and guidance remains invaluable. Our committed and generous volunteer members highlight the vital role our wider community plays in the growth and prosperity of Redlands, and we are ever grateful for their contribution. We look forward to working with the new Executive and Committee in support of the exceptional work of the RPFA within our community.
We are currently looking to fill two roles in the School’s Community Engagement team. Our Director of Admissions leads a team responsible for the planning, management and implementation of all admissions activities of the School, with a focus on future students, ensuring a well-planned and engaging admissions journey. More information on this role can be found here. We are also looking for an experienced event professional to join our team to manage and support Redlands events, with a focus on developing and implementing engaging and memorable experiences for our School community. If you are an enthusiastic and passionate events professional, with an excellent eye for detail and highly developed interpersonal skills in communicating and collaborating then take a look here.
Redlands staff enjoy a number of key benefits that include professional development opportunities and tuition fee discounts. If you would like to discuss either of the two roles above, then please don’t hesitate to contact me.

And finally, a save the date for the Redlands Community Carols Service to be held on Sunday, 3 December, from 5 to 6 pm with St Peter’s Cremorne. All families are welcome and a BBQ and refreshments will follow the service for those wishing to join.

Thank you for your continued guidance and support and as ever, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Community Engagement team, or to me directly, should you have any feedback, suggestions or questions.
