Community Update
As a School we continue to pursue a journey that positions Redlands as a leading contemporary and innovative school inspiring students to adapt, create and thrive in our complex global community.
At the heart of this journey is our community. We recognise the vital role our wider community plays in the growth and prosperity of Redlands and remain committed to providing opportunities for feedback on our performance. With this in mind, we are inviting you to complete a short survey of your feedback. The survey should only take a few minutes, is anonymous, does not collect any personally identifiable information. Thank you for your consideration and contribution within this important process that can be completed here.
It has been lovely to see and hear how our community has been connecting through Term 3. The Redlands Parents and Friends Association (RPFA), Parent Contact Groups (PCGs) and Friends of Groups (FoGs) have all been actively engaged in bringing our various groups together both socially and operationally. The RPFA is drawn from dedicated and passionate parent and carer volunteers who selflessly support the growth and prosperity of our School and the wider Redlands community. Parents and carers who are interested in shaping the future of the School are invited and encouraged to nominate for the various RPFA Committee positions that will become available at the RPFA Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held at the School on Thursday 26 October.
It was a genuine pleasure and privilege to be able to attend the Yr 12 Farwell Assembly and Valedictory Dinner yesterday. I have been inspired by the resilience and endeavour demonstrated by this impressive cohort of students in their final years at Redlands, closely supported of course by their families and teachers who shared in the celebrations. We look forward to following the journey of our 2023 Valedictorians as our newest cohort of Redlanders.
Thank you to the parents and carers who attended the Arnhem Land Trip Information Evening last week. The presentation can be viewed here for those parents and carers who were unable to attend either in person or via livestream. Further details will be provided early next term on how to reserve your place on this truly unique experience scheduled for May 2024, offered exclusively to our Redlands community.
Thank you for your continued guidance and support and as ever, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Community Engagement team, or to me directly, should you have any feedback, suggestions or questions.
The Community Engagement team wish you all a happy, healthy and peaceful Spring break with your family.
